Emrand Henry  

Emrand Henry is a St.Lucian gospel artist who captures his audience instantly with his energy and stage presence. Emrand was discovered at the "Starquest" talent show which he won by a landslide in 2003 with his original reggae piece "What is going on". This award opened the doors many opportunities including a guest appearance on BET's 106 & Park and Main Stage performances regionally and internationally. This achievement made Emrand Henry a household name in St.Lucia and The Caribbean. Emrand's music highlights the themes of Love, Peace, Unity, Spiritual enlightenment, Social Issues and spans a variety of musical styles; reggae, dancehall, soca, R & B and zouk. In 2010, he received his first Marlin Award for Soca Recorded Song of the Year for his song "Dis Year" All his songs are original pieces and Emrand is currently working on a number of collaborations with the industry's finest artists internationally as his music continues to make a global impact as far away as Kenya, where his song "Bad Man Role" went to number 1 in May 2010.
